OK, just finished restoring this kit. It had never been run, but was sitting in salt water half it's life, or so it seemed ! ;) I had to replace almost every screw. Tons of rusty stuff everywhere and like 24 pounds of dust ! The tranny had to redone as it was not assembled correctly, and a few screws were in the wrong place ... but it was nearly mint otherwise. Pretty good find for $65, eh ? I am happy :p
The battery and motor are in there just so it will sit at the proper ride height ...

I wil upload a pic of the body ... the previous owner did a great job on it. BTW, I got the original box in fair to poor condition and the manual in fair to good condition. I hope you like it !

Very nice Jeepinator. I'm thinking about picking up a JRX2 to restore, but I'd like to find an Avante first. I remember when the JRX-T came out. It crushed everything else that was out at the time.

Wow, that thing looks like it's right out of the box! Yeah, not too shabby for $65!

OK, the rest of 'em ... sorry they are so big (file size wise). I do not have any of those cool web optimizer programs.
Anyone know of a good one ?

thats a cool looking truck i havent been around long enough to know but what are those things that come off the rear arms to that tab on the chassis for?
NICE find Jeep, very cool. BTW, what camera do you use (or scanner?). That inspires me to start getting some old cars.
primus - I believe those are braces for the truck so it doesnt break in the back from a side impact (side to side movement). Correct me if im wrong.

ok i started uploading some pictures to a geocities website. I only got 2 on becuase pagebuilder is the worst program ever made. ill get more on later.
Also the crud in the chassis is dried up chocolate milk. It comes off with the flick of a finger.

Please, sell things in the Buy/Sell/Trade forums, and please, do not try to bypass the language filters, they are there for a reason.

I think the two arms on that 5 point suspension are trailing arms, kind of like a mod people used to do to their rc10's.
