has any one ever bought a futaba controler from the back of the mag in the clasifides? i just need a radio my stupid nabor got a hold of my radio and didnt stop twisting the controler wheel when it hit the end of its travel so he busted it and i cant fix it i see in the back of the mag there like 20 bucs and that would be way better than paying 40 for a reciver and radio i dont need

I've not dealt with any companies except the big ones... in other words, Tower Hobbies.

Having an extra receiver is a GOOD thing. Right now I have a radio shortage and have to swap equipment out, yet I can never seem to get myself to spend the extra $$ and get another radio.

look in the rcca mag for king hbbies you can get just a transmitter for 5 bucks
