Since there are so many bodies available for 1/12 scale racing I decided to test some for downforce and drag as a science fair project. I actually did pretty good and got good test results. I was wondering if anybody else had done any independent testing.

This is the trinity body in the test section

I've thought about it, but to get a really good comparison, you'd need to not only test straight-line drag, but also downforce, and the balance between front and rear. It went from being a simple sliding floor with a scale to some complicated thing with a flexible floor and scales under each wheel as well, and at that point I said fudge it.

(Edit, since I started writing before you posted again: Kind of like that. LOL)

It's all sort of moot anyway, as the only test data you can really use are the numbers on a stop-watch.

I did test downforce front and rear. I then took the downforce at each speed and divided it by the drag at each speed to get the downforce to drag ratio.
