Second Radio?

I have been pondering over this isue? I already have airtronics CX2P radio that I use to race my truck. Should I get a second transmiter to go with the stampede that i will get to mess around with. My radio doesen't have moddel memory, so will it mess up my race settings? Or should i get one so that i could run them at the sme time. (another person driving the other one of course!) Just please let me know what your oppinion is.

If you could find a decent buyer who would give you 130 dollars or so you could pick up a JR XR3 for $20 which has 3 model memory.
