Sometimes it's the simple paintjobs that are the best! Very clean, very nice!! Good work!!

Looks cool! I have always been a fan of simple paint ( I can't paint, no patience :)). Most all of my "paintjobs" are one color with stickers to add some more color.

Just make sure you don't scratch the paint when cutting out the wheel wells.

Looks great. The body itself, you are hard-pressed to tell the HPI from the Tamiya at first glance (I have both, though the HPI is 190mm). To bad HPI hadn't perfected the rear wing at that time, but it works well.
A tip for that body: Forget the decal for the hood scoop, use a 'fine point' Sharpie and color it in. That decal is a PITA to get to stick.

LOL. Yeah, it's so skinny, and such an odd angle, I gave up after 5 seconds.
Will you need the body 'street' or finish out the decals? You can get just trim out the names on the rear window decals to complete the street look. Or you can use the same Sharpie for the window molding, and a super-fine point Sharpie for the door, trunk, and hood seams. Now if only they made the silver Sharpie in super-fine....
