What do you use to reinforce the inside corners of your lexan body? What are the points that need reinforcing the most on a RC10-T3 Chevy Silverado body? I have seen people use electrical tape on the inside. Is there something better?

I have used shoe goo and hot glue on my bodies where cracks started to develop, put a (fillet) that is the proper word, at the point of stress, ie, at the inside of a right angle, it will help tie the two sides together.

OK, I just found out that it is not to reinforce the body, but to protect the paint near the sock towers. So, what do you use to protect your paint? I will try the shoe goo thing too. Thanks.

What I use is masking tape, it sticks well and it can be put between the bedu and the shock tower without interfering. Shoo goo is good but can get a little heavey.

I USE THIN METAL WIRE FROM A HARDWARE STORE COVERED WITH GLUE FROM A GLUE GUN. THE WIRE CONFORMS TO THE INSIDE OF THE BODY AND MAKES IT MORE STURDY !

I use small neoprene self adhesive dots to protect the paint, they are used to keep things from sliding around on boats and as padding and isolaters on marine electronic trunion mounts ect.
