Sprechen Sie Deutsch?

I thought the same thing. I have a similar problem with my super rooster in that if the car isn't real close to me reverse glitches like crazy and yet forward will work perfectly fine. Why is that???

I'm not quite sure, because I have never run brushed motors, but I think it might have to do with the motor capacitors. Have you checked those? Do you have them soldered on?

Motor caps, old crystals, reciever, tx batteries, metal to metal contact near the esc, overgeared(and therefore thermaling).

I'll try to deciper the original post:

I have a problem with my truck(It's a xxxt). My ESC has reverse, but it doesn't engage all the time. I replaced the motor with a new one and still have the same problem. The ESC is about a 1yr old. Any ideas on what could be causing the problem?

Sounds like you need to adjust the ESC settings: They can 'drift' from their neutral settings.

If it's a XXX-T RTR with the GM ESC, that's not surprising: I have had a heck of a time getting the one that came with my used Micro RS4 to set properly.
