HEY WALTER T FLOWER JR LOOK HERE

I have a Canned Heat Darango and I want to add 1 or 2 aa batteries to the existing 2 cells. so i would run on 3 or 4 cells. How do i hook the xtra cells to the car.

Bigcheese, You got my attention!
Cut the wire going into the switch , start adding cells there. You will have to check the polarity, but just pick up the wire at the switch ,add two cells, pos to neg or neg to pos and solder it in, . I removed the switch because it was in the way of where I was putting one of the cells , to turn on or off just pull one of the batteries out from the bottom .We have 5 cells in ours and they fit under the Audi and 57 chev bodies.

Bigcheese, I do not have the car here with now, in order to increase the voltage you have to go pos to neg with each cell. Look at the tabs in the battery compartment and find the one with the wire going to the switch and cut it at the switch. You shound be able to tell if it is pos or neg from the + or - symbol in the compartment, if it is the pos side then solder the wire that went to the switch to the - side of the cell you are adding then go from the+ side of the new cell to the - side of your next cell and then from the + side to the
switch. Comprende ? (sp)
