Any one know what electrics they used to achieve the 96 mph in a tc3?

I think they filled the car with batteries (maybe 14 cells) and ran something like a 6-turn motor. PeterV has the cars in his office right now for an article. I'm sure that information will be included.

I think its an aveox motor and esc. I dont know any other company that makes an esc to handle that many cells. Not a 100 percent sure though.

It was actually 13 cells and it loked like an LRP Esc, but I'm not sure about the motor.

On Team Associated's web site it says its a 2-turn burshless!!!! and said it produced something like over 2 horsepower!!!! www.rc10.com (http://www.rc10.com)
near the bottom it will say something about 111mph L30 and the TC3 thing is included in that.

They used a standard 540 Reedy motor in the TC3. The Aveox is in the pan car.

How can a motor go so fast and still not fly apart because of its RPM.
