I just got a set of new mip cvd's for my hpi sport 2. So here is the problem. Both of the front cvd bones are too short and pop out of the axles that go into the differentials. But the back ones are fine. What could I do to fix this? Has anyone had the this same problem? Any help would be greatly apperciated.
Thanks

If there is any washers on the axles where they mate up to the hub carriers try to move them to the opposite side from the wheel. So it adds more length to the axle which in turn will push the bone further in to the outdrive.

The cvd's didn't come with any washers but I might be able to find some. Also I was wondering if I could find longer axles for the ones that are in the differentials, I'm thinkin that will fix it. I would probably have to find thoes from a different kit though right?

Well if its a RS4 then it has a 50mm length and I found these... http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFYV0&P=7 that have a length of 57mm but that might be to much. Just check the length of the bones and try to find a suitable replacement that is slightly longer. Search tower for cvd's and find ones that are the length that would be just longer than 50mm.
Good luck!

Thanks, but these are the aluminum purple cvds(hop ups) not the original kind. But I'll see what I can do to fix this problem.
