see if anyone can beat this one. even broke the carb right off the engine. this is a result of using a traxxas TQ radio. 80mph strait into a curb.

personally like the guy who leaned out his engine too much and ran a fuel line very close to the heatsink.......

well there is one thing missing in the picture. that would be the battery pack. it was laying on the ground 60yrds back!. i dont use failsafes. i use airtronics radios for the past 3 yrs and have never had a runaway after that. i check my batteries before every run with a DVOM, and i make sure their secured to the chassi before ever driving one of my cars.

Anything salvageable on the engine? Maybe you can rebuild it, with a new block.
But, dang, that......80MPH? woooow.

hell no!
that was 4 yrs ago. although it looks much like the traxiated franken GT. that was a home made chassi with a omega/picco .21. i was a dumbass noob back then. didn't realize how important that battery pack and a quality radio were. 80% of that car was broken or bent. i had it running again the next day. but she was never the same. actually that trans is the same one i'm running in my GT.
