I had just finished putting in my new p2k pro and I went for my first run... when I looked down I saw a piece of the motor had broken off! But it still worked and the piece was hanging their. It is the piece across from where the motor wires are. It's a tab that has a silver piece of wiring to it. Should i solder it back on? I have also found that solder doesnt stick very well to the copper head. I am not very good with motors, so any help would be appriciated!

It sounds like you broke the one of the tabs on the endbell where the brush shunts are attached. You should get a new brush hood for that side of the motor and resolder the brush shunt. You can solder the brush shunt to another part of the endbell as a temporary fix, but you should ultimately get a new brush hood. Don't run the motor until you re-attach the brush shunt. If none of this sounds familiar and you're not sure how to do what I've suggested, take your car to a hobby shop that can help you.

Those copper brush hoods are great for conductivity but if they get a hit they are gone happened to me too.
