The HD Wabash wheel offers the latest in design by incorporating 14 tapered spokes and a large hex mounting surface for use with those oversized wheel wrenches. Additionally, the Wabash wheel has 1/2" less offset then typical 40 Series wheels. This allows for Revo owners to maintain standard and rear track width and provides other monster trucks with a 1" narrower stance improving traction and corner speed. The Wabash features a high-strength, durable nylon material to outlast the punishment typically seen by today's Monster Trucks.

Features:
• Maintains stock Revo track width
• Available gleaming yellow or ultra-bright white
• High-strength, ultra-durable nylon material
• For use with 23mm HD Hex system

Wabash 40 Series 23mm HD Wheel

Hmm. I wonder if it's any lighter because of all the holes in it? :)

Should be a little lighter. Probably not by much, though. :)

I like spoked wheels on buggies, but I dunno...

I just can't see them on a MT.

I prefer spoked wheels on anything off-road. It helps to prevent dirt from packing in the inside of the wheel.

Is there really a benfit to any of the current MT's being an inch narrower? I'm guessing that with less offset these would be a pain to mount on a Lightning stadium?

Well, I have the Cheyenne 23mm wheels & 23mm hex adapters, they're probably not far behind...
Have you all seen the HUGE (removal)tool for the 23 mm hex nut?
A huge piece of aluminum with a huge price tag-31 bucks!(I got mine discounted-whew)
Nice setup though.

Why are these wheels are better than the wider non 23hd wheels? pro-line says that because they are narrower, they give more handling and traction, which I don't get why they would.

The Wabash wheels have less offset than the other 23mm wheels. This means that, on a Revo or Savage or 2.5T-Maxx, or anything else that is already wide with standard T-Maxx wheels and tires, is really wide with the wider offset but nearly stock width with the Wabash wheels. Going too wide isn't the best thing for good handling, especially with a short wheelbase.
