I was driving my GT off some steps (about a foot high) and one time I goofed up and went too slow for a four point landing. The truck did a nose dive and landed on the front bumper. The truck is fine, but my radio doesn't work anymore. (the radio is a Futaba 2PCKA AM) I replaced the batts, but still don't get a response. What's going on? I called futaba and they said to send it in, but they might charge me, and I don't have much money. Can Anyone help me?

You might open the case on your receiver and see if averything looks ok in there. Another thing that happened to me one time was my steering servo broke and caused some type of overload on the receiver. When I unplugged the steering servo, the ESC worked fine, but when I plugged the servo back in, the esc wouldn't work, I put a new servo in it and everything was fine. Just an idea...

Don’t worry about the money. I sent in five of the same receivers to Futaba and they sent me back three of them fixed and two brand new ones. The one that were sent back as new ones replaced what was really old ones. And get this, they only charged me 24.95!!!! Now that’s a deal.
So I’m sure that your one receiver shouldn’t cost but a few bucks.
Who knows though, maybe Futaba just really screwed up and I came out ahead.

These guys could be right, but I bet you just broke your Rx crystal. Try a different set of crystals first.

Thanks everyone. I'll try unplugging the servo. Nitro Burner, not too bad. The recievers are $30 at my lhs, so I'm okay about the price now.
