I would back it with some of Faskolor color. Stick with the same brand of paint you started with. :)

That might be the name. Either that, or just use white, silver or black to back your paint, depending on how you want the final color to look.
white-brightens the color
silver-more metallic look
black-darkens the color

Also, practice on some scrap pieces of lexan before trying it on the body to see what the results look like. :)

I have found that if you use the fascolors to back them with Pactra Sprint White, Indy Silver, or Outlaw Black. They seal the waterbase paint very well. :D

So the Pactra colors don't interact with the Faskolor and mess up the paint? Interesting. Learned something new. :)

Matt, a good rule to follow is use acrylics with acrylics and lacquer with lacquer. You can use acrylic on lacquer but you have to be extremely careful (and somewhat lucky) to get away with using lacquer over acrylic.

That's what I was thinking, but it seems to not be the case here!

Thin layers of Pactra Laquer on really cured Faskolor is ok. I've done it on all my nitro bodies..

just wait over night or so to let the Faskolor dry completely. Also, you can't ever spray Pactra or other enamel sealant over Chrome. It will kill the brilliance.
