Ok, I am sure this has been said numerous times but I really would like some suggestions. Here is what I am looking for and I welcome your comments.

1. Off road use - track is mostly softdirt / leaves
2. Something that can really corner - most of the track is weaving in and out of trees , sharp corners.
3. Quicky acceleration / deceleration
4. Can get some serious air - have some good jumps
5. tough - I want something that can take a few raps on a tree (see explination about track).
6. Upgradeable - I want to learn on this one and improve it (better engine / hop ups) .
7. long run time
8. RTR
9. Buggy / low truck / rally car

Ok I know I don't want much. Thanks in advance!

Nitro or electric?

2wd or 4wd?

1/12, 1/10, 1/8, 1/7, 1/6, 1/5, or 1/4 scale?

Personally, for durability's sake, a 4wd 1/8 nitro buggy. They are probably the most durable, handle great, are fast, corner very well, and can be rtr for around $500.

They are upgradeable as far as radio's, engines, pipes, servos, and so on.

If you have a local hobby shop, check to see what they have for cars, parts, support etc.
