GP3300 400+ Seconds
GP3300 EVO 3 600+ Seconds

Question how do EVO 3's get 200+ more seconds.

Also what is negative deltaV peak charge?

is a MRC superbrain 959 negative deltaV peak charger?

Not sure how they got the extra charge time but if you want cells like that you will need a better grade charger like the one I have. I use the Competiton Electronics Pit Bull X3 ( the best "charger" on the market I think). Even though it only charges it is a great charger that is well worth the money.

The Superbrain 959 is a fine charger. It's definately not as nice as the Pit Bull, but it's a quality charger none-the-less. Not perfect...but definately not bad, especially for the price. The negative deltaV is just a fancy way of saying "capable of safely peak detecting Nickel Metal Hydride cells." Yes, your charger has that built in, no worries.

As for the Evo 3's...where are you getting your numbers? I'd be willing to bet that the Evo 3's are from a company like Integy that rates all of their cells at a 20 amp discharge rate, meaning much longer runtime and higher voltage numbers than cells from other matchers that are discharged at 30 or even 35 amps.

The differences in runtime numbers is from different matching loads. The 400+ runtime is a 30amp load, the 600 runtime is a 20amp match while you'll see new numbers 360+ which is a 35amp load.
Also look at what the matcher is using as runout to determine if these are true numbers, matchers that use a 5000 runout I feel is more accurate of what the cell is like - it takes the cells capacity for the complete test cycle until it reaches a .90 volt level. Then there are matchers who only use a 360 runout, or cut off the test at 360 second - this has a tendency to make cell runtime lower, and the voltage higher.

Negative delta refers to how much of a drop in voltage is detected before charger shuts off or terminates the charge cycle. A .03MV would stop the charge cycle sooner than a .05mv detect setting.
