My brushless aint working... id post in the brushless area but to me thats for adv and xperts and not for a beginner who needs help like me
I have Novak 5800 w/SS ESC and futaba 2PL w/ R142JE rec.
This is what I did in order:
1) I plugged everything in... ok time to program the ESC. I set it on Sportsmanmode #5 (w/ rev). so far so good
2) time to correct the trim... from the looks of it the steering is extreme right. ok so i move it to the left... hmm doesn't go left enough. so i turned everything off, manually turned the wheels extreme left, and turned everything back on. As soon as I did, the wheels went extreme right. (when i say extreme i mean it can't turn any further than it is)
3) ok so thats weird... i pull the trigger... no reaction.
first time with brushless.... i tried to set it up like my other rc... which came with a futaba esc. I guess its different, of course its different duh :p .
Here is the diagram of my setup:
*Key thing to know is that the ESC is connected to the switch, which is conntected to the second channel on my receivor. The first channel is for the servo. the battery channel is open for now.

Also the ESC starts making some weird noise when i touch one of its wires ( not the fat cables) or when generally anything comes close in contact... any explanation for this?
Sorry for this long post. i appreciate anyone who reads it thanks.
