For those who want an AE 4wd buggy, here is a petition started up by someone else on another board:

http://www.petitiononline.com/ae4wd/petition.html

Who knows, maybe AE will listen. Worse thing that could happen is they still don't make one. Wait, that is what they are doing now. . . So there is no downside!

For those who want an AE 4wd buggy

Just FYI, there is already a conversion kit from the TC3 to a 4WD buggy (http://www.rc-resources.com/cgi/search.cgi?quick=1&q=rcproductdesigns). Looks like it would work pretty well too.

TC3-"O" like Bill said. Plus doesn't another company have the BJ4 or Durango or whatever that's based on a TC3? So there's at least 2 conversion/4wd off road kits "from associated" floating around if I'm not mistaken. :D

Sadly, the best way to get AE to build a 4wd buggy is for everyone to buy a kit that is already out there and get the 4wd class alive. AE has stated time and again that they won't make a 4wd buggy if there isn't a real market for them...sure it's a catch 22 but it doesn't look like that will be changing anytime soon.

As an owner of the TC3-O Version 2 conversion kit, I can safely say that it's a nice kit that and it's getting better all the time(slipper will be available soon). That and 4wd buggys in general just rock!

Signed it #408. I am a true Team Losi guy to the bone but in the spirit of competion I would love to see an Associated 4wd beside me at the starting line and behind me at the finish line. ;)

Its probably not worth pestering AE to make this car. As it is, 4wd mod buggy has always been a pretty limited class that doesn't attract a large crowd due to cost and maintenance. Their time would be much better spent revamping the RC10GT IMO.

atm, you are probably right, but the squeaky wheel gets the oil. As far as cost and maintenance goes, not really any more, if at all as the monster trucks that are on the market today. But the damand and want for 4wd buggies is definetly growing.

if you have ever seen a BJ4, most of the parts are AE, and it is pretty much a tc3 make into a buggy, the whole drive train of the BJ4 is TC3

rcboy201, Yes you are correct, I use to race at Minnreg in Largo, Fla. where the J in BJ races and have seen the buggy first hand, even in the proto stage and it is awesome. BUT not a true AE buggy , therefore all parts are not readily available all over the place. That is not even the issue, since I like to race Associated vehicles it would be nice to have a 4wd buggy made by Associated, not a conversion, that is all it is for me. Not a biggie, I have enough for me to keep up with now, if they make one I'll buy it.
