Making Custom Decals, Anyone used water-slide

I want to make custom racing decals for a few cars I am putting together, but not sure what to use. I was trying to find decal paper like what HPI prints their decals on but, no suck luck, anyone else know.

Has anyone used the water-slide decals? DO they stick to lexan ans how durable are they?

Any help would be great.

An RCCA article used them, but in reverse on the inside of the body, and backed with Faskolor before painting.

They definitely do not stick to the outside: The first flexing and they come right off.

Kinko's has 'sticky backed' Mylar, not sure how flexible it is or how it takes the ink, but it's clear and glossy. Was a buck for the sheet, worth a try. I'd do it in reverse, use it on the inside, and avoid compound curves.
