Am I Out of Touch

I'm wondering if F1/Indy car racing is still around? I built a Kyosho Impress F1 car a few years ago and never had a chance to race it because life got busy and well I just never got around to it. Anyway, I just pulled the car out of storage and I want to race it, but it doesn't seem like there is much F1 racing anymore. Is F1 dead, should I build a sedan instead, or should I just put a sedan body on my F1 chassis?

You dont fund F1 racing much, but if you talk to the peoplewho run your local track, they may let you run with a 2wd on road class if they have it, or maybe oval, though it would be hard to get weight oin the left...
