I have MIP CVD's on my RC10GT with 1/4 inch axles and I just want to know if I couuld put 3/16 axles on them with the same dogbone half. So basiclly I just want to switch the axle end of the cvd's instead of buying new cvd's. If you understand my question please let me know..

I am pretty sure that will work, however you would need new rims and bearings to fit the new axles, unless you are buying the axles to fit the bearings you have.

Doby, I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. I started to reply earlier, but then I wanted to actually measure each one out to be shure. They are the same length & should match up perfect. You just need the 3/16" MIP axles & the std Assoc hub carriers with 3/16 x 3/8 bearings. The FTGT's come with 1 1/2' hubs & 3' blocks, & I would highly recomend them for off road. Funny thing is I also need to do this to my old tub GT. ;)

Almost forgot, Daves right about the wheels. The 1/4" ones won't fit the 3/16" axles, but you probably knew that anyway. Joe
