gearing on xxx-s

i was running my xxx-s today at my local indoor track.... its the stock 19turn motor and its getting hot... im thinking of putting in a stock motor into it but dunno what to gear it too......... the track is 45X25 and very tight.... n e one have n e ideas?

I run a 24t pinion and a 90t spur with my 27t 24degree Trinity moster stock pro. Runs good cool batt. cool esc motor gets warm. My track is 100x40 but with tight turns and two long straights. Thinking about going to a 25 or 26 pinion and see what happens. I'm running matched gp3300 cells too.

ty for the info... the stock pinion is 24 so it looks like i may have to order a spur then :(

I run a monster hp stock in mine with 64 pitch gears. 108 spur and around 22 on the pinion. batt and esc are always nice and cool and the motor barely breaks 100. The track I run at is both a combination of a long sweeping track with a tight technical section. hope this helps
