I just bought a penguin p3500 chassis and a 300 motor mount for my Micro RS4, looks kille; but the problem I'm having is that the motor (Monster Wild) with its' 11 tooth pinion can't reach the spur gear. Does HPI make a bigger spur gear the the HPI Micro? And what is the largest one? What about pinion gears; what is the largest size for this also?

There are 2 screws that hold the motor mount into place, it's the top one that's closest to the motor that won't allow me to push the motor back any further.

Here are a couple of pics to help you see what I'm talking about

In this pic the area circled shows where the motor is pushed against the screw. I removed material from the area but it still doesn't allow my 11 tooth pinion to fit against the spur

And this pic shows that I still have about 3mm to go before I get the fit that I'm looking for. So does anyone have a remidy?

maybe you can dremel down the two slots for the motor screws down a bit. this way, you can place the screws down furthur. you might wanna take the axle out for that one. good luck
