BY quad, i assume you mean the real thing and not kyosho's quad rider :)
well i recently sold over 2000$ worth of electric cars, trucks and equipment to get my first car running right, and tight :)
But i couldnt stay away for long, Now, my moneys spliting between two rc and real thing.
I about to jump back in with a Rc10gt, you do what you want, but you will always come back :D

id buy the quad, you'll always come back to /rc if you have enough of a desire.

7i dunno cause i love RC and i like quads i can use a RC more often. im 14 and i only have enought right now for one. I could probably stay in RC and when i get it all evened out with $$ i might be able to pitch in for a Quad(real)

If i stay with RC should i get a Npede or a TMAXX?

I have never driven a Nitro Stampede, but I can tell you that the T-Maxx is a blast. I also have a nitro Rustler which is also a blast, but it can't go anywhere near the places my T-Maxx goes. I think the Pede could go more places than the Rustler, but the T-Maxx with 4WD and reverse is definately the way to go.

Yeah, definitely get the T-MAXX and pitch any money left in for a Quad.
