Ok guys I need some help here. I need a dogbone that is 90mm from pin to pin or 96mm end to end. It's for a custom project I'm working on ;) Thanks a lot!

I shoulda been more specific.. The dogbone will most likely need to come from a 1/8 scale vehicle and I can't use the sliders cause it's not for the rear it's for a center drive. Thanks again.

Duratrax uses 90mm and 93mm dog bomes in the 1/8 scale vehicles, I dont have a metric ruler so gimmie a day and I will measure them out for you.

I don't know if this is a viable option for your application, but: Could you cut a bone & insert it over a heavy wall aluminum tube, epoxy it together at the proper length? Just a thought. :)

Thanks VLBR.. Well it could work Railman.. I dunno though..it'd pry have to be welded though because it'll be under a lot of stress. I'm installing the Monster Pirate spur gear in my Monster Blazer and that's going to give it a lot of torque so it might twist it apart. Does anyone have a suggestion on what type of epoxy/welding method to use? Thanks.

If you were gonna use a 2pc driveshaft cut a flat on it so instead of a tube sliding over it it would get more bite, then you use some jb weld.

No that one is 90 mm end to end... it needs to be 96 mm end to end... thanks for looking though.

If it's for a driveshaft it should be at a lower torque load than a normal dog bone. If you get 1" or so overlap the epoxy will hold plenty well, if cleaned properly, & still keep fairly neat & clean. The other option would be to use either brass, stainless, or steel & solder together. Keep this joint toward one end & it will cause less runout problems. Just a thought. Good luck. :)

what about this.
take any 1/8 dogbone, and cut the ends off, (or whatever space you need) and find some hollow tubing, and drill and tap some holes in each end, then on the two dogbone ends grind flatspots on them and home them onto the hollow shaft, voila! adjustable shafts.
not sure if it would hold up, maybe once you got it to the desired length jbweld it, / or thread lock the set screws. I'd also question how much each setscrew and how much it would be out of balance.
