I got a paintball-gun used the other day, and it had a broken braided wire for the bottomfeed. The problem was it was leaking, so I put some CA on the leak, waited 24hours and the CA is holdign up to 3000 psi, its amazing, and it works flawlessly.

I wouldn't count on it holding too long. Use a metal epoxy (JB Weld, or Devcon is good)for that purpose. I tried something similar once & the ca broke dowm when I least expected it. The metal epoxy is way better suited for this situation. :)

Of course the CA held. It's strong stuff. That's why dental labs use it for braces and why doctors are starting to use CA instead of stiches on deep cuts on certain places of the body. Never doubt the power of CA! ;)

Ca was originaly developed durring the Vietnam war erra & was used for emergency battlefield closures. It's far from new, & definately has its place. I had a failure on a pnematic system 30 yrs ago. It was on MX suspension accumulators, @150 psi+-. Blew during a moto, & was barely used.
I repaced the ca with metal epoxie & it lasted indefinately. Epoxy is better for this application. :)

So, I have to take the CA off and use jb weld or just put it over it? I have ran a whole tanks of Co2 and it doesnt leak so far.

Budget, I think I misunderstood what you glued together on your gun. :o My sons have paintball guns that have solid metal tubing lines I believe yours must be steel braid over vinyl or nylon tubing. Epoxie would not be good on most plastics, but it would be on metal tubes. I think you probably ought to replace the line. 3,000 psi is not something you want to play around with. It's not worth the risk.

I know, but I HATE to order stuff, I am calling all the PB places for a new line or to buy one off a used gun right now. For now it should hold up for monday.
