I wanna put an offroad track in my backyard for this summer. My questions are these:
1. Is there a special type of dirt to use? Is there any thats better than another?
2. How do you form the jumps ie.(triples, tabletop.)?
Thanks before hand for any info.

You can definitely get carried away with building a track! Use whatever you have. That’s what will make your track different from everybody else’s. I just started running a pattern in my yard. That caused a groove to form after a while. I built a couple different sized jumps from wood I had lying around. I made them semi-portable so I can rearrange if I want to. I have used old garden hose, 2x4's, branches, dirt piles, firewood, PVC, whatever I have at the time. JUST DO IT! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

i agree with stewy, use whatever you got. if you are looking for some permanant dirt jumps, you can either pile up the dirt and pack it down, or put something down like a log or bucket and then pile dirt on the sides. that just makes it easier so you do not have to haul all that dirt around. plywood and some 2x6's make good jumps.
set the ramp high and watchem fly!! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
