Hello, In an ebay auction, i won some old losi tires. The tires are for a buggy and they are rears. The compond is gold........team losi doenst have a gold compond anymore and was wondering what this compound was good for. Ill be racing on a hard packed clay track with these tires(well, maybe :p )
Thanks :D

Well, i know the tread pattern is good for the hard packed stuff.....dont really need a pic to see the compond. I just thought someone with some old r/c know how ,would know. This tire isnt REAL old....its just discontinued.

back when the golds were popular we raced on real offroad tracks they were more for loose fluffy tracks, gold front tires still work good on big high bite tracks where you want good smooth steering I would think that for rears though you would want a softer compound like red. alot of times on real high bite tracks like the old mnm in ca they would run silver compound slicks
hope that helps some

thanks Mike Elam. I agree also about the off-road tracks. I like the dusty, loose tracks. In addition to the clay track, I will be racing on an outdoor track with real off-road action.
