I am new to the hobby and just fried my first ESC. H2O + ESC = smoke and poping ESC. I have a Rustler and just put in a Camelon Pro 19 turn motor. Those instructions said the pro has capacitors on it and not to attach any. The ESC's I am looking at are the DuraTrax IntelliSpeed Auto-Sport w/ forward and reverse or the Hitec EZX-R Pro 2 way speed control. Both say they require capacitors. Do I need them or are they the same thing that already on the motor? I need to know before I order so I can order them if needed.

Not 100% sure, but most likely the caps they're talking about are motor caps, which for the most part are already installed on today's motors....
