ESC 4 a Stam,pede

Hey, Iam a little tight on budget, and I want to getr a Stampede with an ESC. Should I get a forward only or a reverse with lock out? I wuld be using either a 17 or 15 turn Trinity Monsters of Touring motor. $75 is my ESC budget

well NOVAK ESCs are always nice. But if you are really on a budget id say the duratrax streak. it can handle a modified and is only like 50 bucks. but it is forward only
