Could someone help me out with theses 2 motors?

I bought a bunch of stuff of e-bay, Including 2 motors. Since I am a total newbie I could use some advice. I am not planning on racing, yet. Just beating around In my yard. What are the differences between these two motors? What gear ratio should I be using? I have a Losi XXXT and a Losi XXX. Will both motors work well in both the buggy and the truck? Should I save the new one for a while? Which 1 is faster?

#1 Brand new in the box Team Orion Core Stock RS.
The little piece of paper in the package says this.
RPM 26,762
Power Max 118.5W
Power avg. 76.0
Efficiency Max 67.8%
Efficiency Avg. 44.6%

#2 Looks well used!! Trinity P2K Pro. Copper head?
I have no paperwork on this motor but it has a label on it that says.
Trinity 27x1
RPM 27,484
Power: 120.0 W
I can't read all of this line, Eff: ?75.1
Torq: 175nm
Nr: P2K-Pro

Thanks in advance.

theyre both great stock motors (both 27 turns).

the difference between them is who made it, lol. its like comparing ford to chevy. rpms and wattage are about the same, and youll probably see similar performance out of both given the brushes and comm are in good shape.

which one is faster probably will be the one you put in the buggy (considering you have the same gear ratios), 'cause theyre lighter.

with gearing, i just put "whatever i have" on my basher cars and if the esc and motor get hot to the touch, i go down a tooth on the pinion, and go from there. someone else can probably help you more on this. good luck!

Though it's not 100% a dyno pull can sometimes show which motor may be slightly better than another by comparing watts, rpm, torque and efficiency. While the readouts you have may be from two different dynos the best numbers are from the P2K. For bashing the 2 could be geared the same in each vehicle but a couple teeth lower in XT since it has taller tires. Both should work well in either vehicle, just follow a good maintenance routine to keep them running well.

Put the P2K in the truck and the Orion Core in the buggy for nice speeds.

Thanks guys. I have another question. Do these motors have the capacitors needed to run a reversing ESC? How can I tell?

The P2K has capacitors already installed on it but I'm not sure about the Orion motor.

orion never installs capacitors, the spend that money one good endbells etc. I know trinity has them (my revenge of the moster pro has 3 capacitors on it already) i like trinity and the orion both the same....they are both really good stock motors
