GUYS! i ordered a street sport from tower hobbies 2 weeks ago AND THEY JUST DISCONTINUED IT!!! NOW I CANT GET IT!!!!! i called them to complain and they told me to order a kit of the same value! well now im getting the tamiya ford lighting svt kit but the good thing is they waived the shipping.

I think you should actually be happy that you didn't end up with a kit that's discontinued. The parts supply will be shrinking and the longer you own, the more likely it will be that you won't be able to find a replacement part. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

ACCTUALLY thye only discontinued the kit version but the RTR version still stands so i dont think that parts support will decrease that much if not at all. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well, I think that puts the nail in the coffin, i still agree with steve, that that means it will at least decrease in part availability, like the spirit, how often do you see parts for them?

The street sport is maade by traxxas, im fairly sure, and they still carry parts for the hawk (i think thats what its called.) cause i read it in rcca, that they carry parts for all thier kits, so i dont think that parts avalibility will go down to much, but ya never know.
