First body painted and did something stupid already

1) marked body with body post locations
2) washed the body in soap and warm water.
3) dried thoroughly with a towel.
4) spray the body.

Okay, did you catch what I forgot? I wasn't in a hurry or anything, I realized I forgot to put the window masks on after I painted 75% of the body. Luckily this is supposed to be my practice body.

Cut them out! It wont look hack. OR put some of that window tint from Dahms on it.

Never fear your body can be saved. Try using brake fluid to remove the paint and start over. I hear this works rather well. You could also try lighter fluid. Both of these are supposed to remove the paint without "fuzzing" the lexan.

Leave the body the way it is, don't try to remove the paint with anything if its jsut a pratice body. Chances are the body will be no more in less then a month. hehe

hey JP, won't cutting out all the windows (4 sides) reduce the structural integrity of the body? If car rollovers, the roof would collapse. Anyways, it doesn't look that terrible. I painted it silver at least.

You can cut out the windows and front/rear windshields...it'll just cool your engine that much better. Or you can use a reamer and ream out 8-10 holes in each side window to keep it strong yet add ventilation & make it look like a window instead of a big silver dome
