I want to get a good charger so my batteries can last longer and get more run time. Right now I have a 15 minute quick charger, and well, I need a better one. I was looking at the mrc superbrain 819 (or is it 809?), and it seems pretty good and it isn't a lot of money. Should I get it? I don't want to spend a lot of money, does anyone have one that they can tell me about?
Thank you!

The superbrain should be fine for sport packs if your just bashing around but not racing. If your looking into racing then save a little to buy a more race oriented charger. It just depends on what your planning on using it for and what type of batts.

thank you! i may race with my ta03, so like you said i'd need a better charger, can you recommend anything that doesnt cost a lot? I don't want to spend $100+ on a charger b/c I really don't think rc should be that expensive.
Thanks again!

If you truly believe there is no difference between a Super brain and a millenium its because you have never owned a millenium. There is a difference. Will a super brain hurt a 2400 Nicad? Probably not. Will you get the best out of the pack? Not likely.
About the best and least expensive ac/dc chargers Ive seen is the Astroflight 114. It runs about $60 dollars, dose a great job, and will last a long time.

Try charging NIMH packs with a Super Brain, can you say FFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!. The Millenium may cost more but it will do things the Brain never will.

I hate to break the news to you but the Appex cannot do everything a Millenium can do. It does not have all the adjustable parameters as the millenium. Find someone with a millenium and let them show you what it can do. You cant just go by what is listed in an ad. The Apex is a good beginners charger but its a little expensive. You can get a decent charger for less. The Astroflight 114 for $60 or the 115 w/adjustable amps for $73. Both will do what you need without having a bunch of useless "modes" that you dont need. The money you save could go to a good discharger or a battery or two.

You all are wrong!!!! apex sigma plus is where its at. I paid 120 for mine and it does all the millenium does plus some. It also isnt just dc so yuou have to buy a power source or carry around a car battery w/you. The sigma plus, in my humble opinion, is the best value on the market right now. It may be a little costy but youll never worry about your batts.
