The MT is not really the toughest thing out there. Ive had problems with the ball cups stripping out and the front dogbones popping out. Minor problems but the rods and ends need to be replaced with after market ones and the front end need universals.

i keep hereing about how people kepp messing up the front end ends breaking the car and half
i dont know if they drive with cider blocks straped to the top or if they like driving on the freeway
ive had my emt for about 2 years the only thing that i think ***** is the rear shock tower and the light wheight body it flexs to much

It only takes one hard landing on the front end to strip a ball cup out. Ive never had a problem with the rear end. Did you have a cinder block strapped to it?

Well, my lil bro has it, and I drive it everyonce in a while when Im out of gas, Its an awsome car. AND you cant go wrong with the 4wd. It handles GREAT!!! It seems tough, heck, he's a newbee and still hasnt broken anything.

The HPI EMT is awesome after a few hop ups. MIP CVD'S at least in the front. The stock dogbone will keep falling out on minor impacts. RPM ballcups are a must the stock ones are pitiful. Titanium turnbuckles are nice the stock ones are wimpy. After these minor hop up's it should be a reliable truck.
I also think that Associated should stop ducking the 4wd market http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/eek.gif. There are a lot of HPI MT's out there just waiting for them to make that mistake!!! Good Luck with your decision.
