In my opinon, the Trinity P2K Copper Head Pro is the best stock motor. It's rebuildable, and has monster power; more than any other stock motor I have used, including the Reedy Rage Type R. It carries the most torque and overall RPM according to RCCA's dyno. This motor likes to have some resistance, so put a tooth bigger on it than you normally would use. People at my track that I race my TC3 with, are always complaining about it being so fast, that they think it is a mod motor. I even had to take it apart because they though I was running a 16 turn armature in it! If you were to leave it stock, it would have less torque, more RPM than a regular PARADOX, but if you combine it with 2 green springs and 2 4499 brushes, both by Trinity, the thing will RIP! It was kinda funny at my first touring car race when I showed up. They put me in a higher class for some reason (qualifying) and I was in the B-Main (remember, first race). I lapped the secong place 2 TIMES, in the first 5 laps! Everyone thought I was cheating, but upon further inspection, it was legal. Man I like the P2K...

Oh ya, and for ESC, get one that you can tune. If your only going to be racing stock, get one that is more FOR stock racing. Like the LRP V6 (not 7.1) or SC/SCR (whatever its called).
