OK gang, I need your collective wisdom. I looked through most of the posts and it looks like we've got some ST gurus here. Here are the two problems I'm having:
1) Have replaced the idler gears in the transmission now two times and they seem to be stripped again. Was generous with the grease but they just seem to be really week. Any ideas?
2) Have replaced the stock plastic spur gear three times! The rear a-arm keeps coming up and shredding the gear. There doesn't seem to be any STOP to prevent the a-arm from touch the spur gear. Seems like a design flaw to me. I could swith to a metal spur gear but this would just chew the a-arm. I can't be the only ST Pro with this problem? Help!!!
