Tx = Transmitter

Rx = Reciever

Its just quicker than typing it everytime.

Yea, same thing with "rx batt." Its just the external battery to power the receiver, and servos. we tend to shorten everything in RC. I meant think about it, we even shorten the name of R/C RADIO Control. Its natural.
