I have a rc10b3 and im just now building it..
Well ive come to almost the end but ive noticed that when I turn the stealth spur gear...my wheels dont move...and im thinking shouldnt that make my wheels turn or am I missing something?
If anyone could tell me what I did wrong it would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance..

Well i dunno much abut those but it could be either your missing a gear in the trany or if it has a slipper clutch it's not tightened enough. or may-b your missing the pins on the wheels or axle whatever there called.

you might also want to make sure your diff is facing the right directions... the right outdrive should be on the right side, left on left. That might fix it.
Oh yea.. your dogbones ARE in right? hehe, kinda silly but that could be it.

Im an old AE guy ,at least was until the TC3 came out, anyway maybe the clutch is way loose, the idler gear in the stealth tranny is MISSING?
the diff is not built precisly(very important)I think you cant build the out drives wrong, its hard to mess up on a B3.
IN ANY EVENT, just REBUILD The whole TRANNY, even if you have to do it 3 or 4 times . READ the instructions that AE gives you over and over when you rebuild the tranny. you will also gain so much experience in the process. and the Stealth tranny that makes up the B3 is really what sets the B3 apart from the other brands. Built right and maintaned correctly it is what makes this buggy fly.
have fun

ps unfortunately I cant say to call AE because I myself have been disappointed with their help regarding my defective TC3 Team.
It was a mess. dont fret AE makes a dam good OFFROAD truck or buggy. But if you are missing any parts just call them with part #'s and they will oblige you. I have had so many missing parts in like 7 of the AE kits I had built in the past. phone AE @ 714/850-9342. Dont mention me , Steve C NYC
they will hang up on you!! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Double check your diff assembly, if it wasn't tightened correctly or if some of the small parts are not in the correct place it may be the source of your trouble. I also agree with steveCnyc about rebuilding the whole tranny several times until you get it just right.

you may have forgotten the diff washers which make comntact with the balls without those the diff gear is free to move wihtout the outdrives

It sounds like something is binding one one side. Check the simple stuff first like bearings to see if it is smooth. If that isn't the problem take apart the diff and reassemble it again, minding the instructions to the letter. Pay extra attention to the diff and thrust balls, they are not the same size and if they get mixed up things will not work right.
Good luck.

Try and isolate the problem. Remove the tranny and spin just the tranny. When you spin the spur, you should see the outdrives at the back end of the tranny spin relatively freely. If it doesn't, then you know something is wrong within the tranny. Open up the tranny, maybe put all 3 interior gears on one side, and spin it now. Spins freely now? If not, remove one gear (maybe the middle idler gear) spin the diff gear, free? Yes? Spin the top shaft. Free? No? Now you know its in the top shaft. etc, etc.
Keep using the "isolate the problem concept" and you will be on your way to be a good rc mechanic. While the tranny is off, spin the wheels to make sure the wheel bearings aren't binding too.
Happy Racing!

ok first of all does it have the white proline rims if so they could be the problem to see if it is take off the wheels then try spinning the gears, also does your motor spin if not clean it out cause something could be in it stoping it from spinning, if thats not it, there could be something inside the tranny stoping the gears. also did you follow the directions assembling it. is your diff to lose.
