Hey guys, should the outdrives spin freely upon assembly of the diffirential??? I really need help. Anything is appreciated.

No, they should not spin freely. There should be resistance. Assemble the diff according to the instructions. When you go to the track, feel some of the other TC3/TC4 cars and loosen your diff until it feels like theirs. Easiest way to explain it. ;)

A good way to test to see if your diff is too loose is to hold the outdrives and have someone try to spin the gear, it should not spin. Usually I try to have mine barely tight enough to keep the gear from spinning.

Yes. The stock setting is really tight - I run my diffs much looser than what the instructions say. Try Lapster's method.

ok well does it hurt em or will the melt or break easier if there loose?

If their are too loose, they will slip under loads like hard acceleration. As long as they are not so loose that they are slipping excessively, you'll be okay. Feel some of the other TC3/TC4's at your track to get a feel for it.
