Wow guys, TRAXXAS really proves they RULE the monster truck world. They had 2 E-Maxx's on display: A bone stock one, and a blue one with all of Traxxas's goodies on it from the T-Maxx. All parts (except the middle section) are interchangabke with 6 differently painted bodies available. A top speed of 24mph compared to the T-Maxxes 30mph and the E-Maxx blows it away in acceleration.

They made a manual shifting so they didnt have to use a seperate remote which means cheaper for the buyer. The plush suspension with the T-Maxx's/Clods ground clearance means it will reach new levels in monster trucks. Manual shifting offers better things in these ways: Want to race better? You wont have to flip over on the lid in first gear because its not automatic shifting. Need to get up STEEPER hills without stalling? Yup, stay in first gear and WHEELIE up the whole thing! As the batteries are charged or dieing there are different shift points on an auto: quicker shifts with a fresher battery, and maybe no second gear shift with dead batteries which is why the E-Maxx is manual. The motors are POWERFUL 550 motors that are fan cooled to keep you running without a performance drop. You can also loosen the slipper so you dont have as MUCH acceleration in first, which proves how powerfull this truck is.

Anything bad with it? The only thing I can see that will be a problem is gearing. The gears are 32 pitch which are bomb-proof from jumps and all. But where can you find 32 pitch electric gears that aren't a bell crank look? I cant think of anyone who sells 32 pitch electric pinions. That may mess up if you want more top speed (who wants MORE acceleration anyway with this kind of truck?)

Is the E-Maxx good? Umm, are you alive? I'll take that as a yes http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif. I know i'll add this truck to my collection of R/C. Making history one gear and one hill at a time. Traxxas really proves that they are the king of kings.

This topic is free for discussion and questions you may have for me. I mean, I WAS staring at the E-Maxx for 1 hour and another hour of information and pictures on it. Sorry I cant post pics, my computer is pretty much broken. Hope you like my mini article. Man I think im OBSESSED!

Ok, I just found out that TRAXXAS will make their own pinions in different sizes. And the bodys will have 6 different colors in each body with 4 base colors to choose from: Purple, Blue, Silver and Red. The mod motors will be 19 turn, 15 turn, and 10 turn. They're gunna RIP, especially with the bigger magnets.

Man, Traxxas took a one small step for man, and one giant leap for mankind. Wait, wasn't that Neil? Lol. JP, thanks again and more stuff like pics would really be nice. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Did I do that good of a job 2fast4u? Im loyal to RCCA, and I didnt even see any other magazine people there. Why? Is there an article I should read in a different mag.? All of this did come from me and NO magazines, including RCCA. Remember, I STARED at this thing for an hour taking pictures and all looking at the parts. If they offered it in a kit, I'd probably be able to build it from memory. Sorry I cant post pictures, I kinda umm, broke my floppy disk drive (long story). Oh yeah, I was also talking to ALL of the people in the Traxxas booth listening to what everyone said. I tried not to drool though, but caught myself slerping the spit in a few times. If anything sounds familiar from a different mag. let me know, ill pick that mag. up and read it. Maybe I should work for RCCA??? Sometimes I scare myself by what I do...
