Tamiya paint chipping?

I painted one of my buggy bodies near the end of the summer and raced it a bunch of times in september. It was tamiya paint and I washed the body, dried it and sprayed it once every 45 minutes of light coats 4 times. The body chipped very easily, under normal 1/8 scale racing. I have other bodies with no chips at all with parma paint. Does anybody have bad experiences with tamiya paint?

Did you by mistake buy the TS paints? The PS paints are for polycarbonate.

Was there cobwebbing while painting? If there was the paint would have dried before it hit the body. If you dont thin the paint out right and spray at to high a pressure (I usually dont go over 18psi with non water based paints), it will dry before hitting the body.
