With these i'v heard u need 3, One from positive to the can, one from negitive to the can and one from positive to negitive. Cya

i was supposed to solder my t3's capacitators on to stock motor that came with it but i didnt because it said that all they do is lower sound. however i would solder em on. there should be 2 and i'm not sure where u put em

Warhawk the capasitators reduce noise and also reduce glitching in da radio, lol slam into any tree's latly? And i heard from a dude at the LHS u need 3 for the 540 cans cya

You dont need capacitators for the silver can motors. And dont run them in sand or really loose dirt because they overheat very easily.

As long as your electronics are in good shape & they're installed properly(particularly the wiring, try to keep wires from crossing, & keep the antenna wire as far away from everything as you can) then you really won't need capacitors at all. I stopped installing them several years ago(just got tired of it), & I have never had any serious glitching problems(only time I did, it was because my transmitter had some solder joint problems on its circuit boards). I'd suggest you go ahead & try it without them, & see if it runs ok. If not, then you can try soldering some capacitors on..... :)

I think if it says so do it. What i would do is only use 2. Go from - to the can and from + to the can. You might have to scratch up the can a little where you solder it.
