What is the BEST charger for NiMH batteries? I need it only for Tx/Rx and Glo ignitor batteries. I want one that I can hook up the batteries and NOT have to baby sit for false peaks and tempurature. It would need to range from single cell to 8 cells. I know that many chargers say they are NiMH compatable but when it comes down to it they don't do a good job with NiMH batteries.

I use a Competition Electronics Turbo 35BL to charge my NiMH (both sub C and AA). It's highly configurable so there's no problem with false peaking after you get the settings right. It's not cheap though so when you ask for the best you usually have to pay for the best.

I dont know why you'd want to fast charge a Tx/RX battery, especially a MiMH, but I use NiMH in my planes and heli radio gear and use a cheap hobbico multi charger to trickle charge them. Simply plug them in the night before, and your done. The charge typically lasts a few weeks because of there large capacity. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks guys! I don't need to fast charge them, I just don't want to have to sit and watch them. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

If i was you i would get the Hobbico Accucycle Tx/Rx charger/cycler,i have one and it works great. It can charge and discharge both Tx and Rx packs at the same time and displays mah capacity for each, and automatically trickles to prevent overcharge. It's $89 at tower hobbies.
