I have no idea what I was thinking. This one sort of got away from me. I painted this for a friend as a Christmas present. But, it fits him. I'm sure he'll like it.

In typical Cosmo style, it's flawless. However, it's awfully colorful. :D

Yeah. He said he wanted something bright and colorful. I think that meets the requirements....

It almost looks like they (the two sides of the car) are holding hands in the middle. If just that one flame came up and over the other I would think it was sort of romantic. I do like how you where able to use so many different colors and keeping it fun without having hard lines of seperation between each of the colors. Very nice.

Can I ask a question without anyone flaming? What's up this all the flames? :D :D :D You guys are the biggest bunch of flamers I have ever seen. :p I looked at and responded to a bunch of threads in this forum today and I believe everyone had a flame job on their cars. If ya'll keep doing flame jobs I won't be able to do one on my next car. Is this a trend or something.

Well, flames is about 85-90% of what I do. Sort of my calling card, if you will....

I think I see bigfoot in the windshield reflection :)

Super crisp paint as always...kind of a Beneton effect. I've got one even more colorful than that I will post soon...was an experiment though.

Yeah. I'm not sure what that reflection is actually of, however.... My camera is on a tripod.

Well next time I see a flame job from you I'll know why. ;) I do like how they extend the length of the body. It is very nice.

Very nice! I like the way that the burgandy and orange go together.

I have a buddy that has a '32 ford street rod in burgandy and orange; very cool.

Is there such a thing as too much color? I don't think so! :-)

I agree to a point. In this vehicle I think it is great with all the colors. Do I think it would have been better with more or less I can't say. I enjoyed the way it flowed with the flames mixing it up a bit. I used to watch Porshe cup racing with my dad and those vehicles had the most intriguing paint jobs. The one that sticks in my head the most is one that had the Shell gas station emblem across the hood and roof. It had one yellow wheel that was included into the shell symbol and the rest of the wheels were black. It was fabulous.
I do however like bodies that are able to be left alone with one color and allow the viewers to be intrigued by the way it's body flows. Vehicles should sometimes be viewed as a work of art and the artist should sometimes find a different canvass to paint on. In the world of racing that goes out the door. I believe it is the teams responsiblility to grab my attention and make it impossible for me to take my eyes off their vehicle.

I would say my favorite type of paint jobs include a solid base and one theme. Like matching images on both side. Something like this paint job that has an image that starts at the hood and goes back. Makes you think about where it's going(looks fast standing still). I also like the exact opposite that has solid in front and all the artwork is going on in the back. I feel this makes the vehicle looks faster when it's moving because you see the vehicle then move your eyes to the rear of it. That little leap in space sort of moves it forward in my mind which I precieve as faster. On the other hand I've always like those paintings on the hood or roof. Well I'm done with my opinion. Thanks for reading.

One more time great photo.
