Hi, I was wondering if you can use any transmitter with a receiver as long as the connector is the same? Anyone have a real answer because I've been given yes's and no's

they have to be on the same band
(am+fm=wont work)

I have used a Hitech, Tekins, a Novak no more flames Nairb http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif, an Airtronics and Futaba's on FM and have had no problems. The connection had to be switched for the Airtronics with Futaba servos.

All but the Airtronics have been used at the races w/o any problems.
