does every one here use air compessors? or could i use canned air thanks

There's a great idea here http://www.rctech.net/articles/painting_hauntedmyst1.shtml#sub08 . If I didn't have a compressor, that's what I'd try.

Carb, you can use canned air, however, there's a few problems using it with a dual action AB. For one thing, you can't adjust the air flow properly, and the second is it has a tendency to spray liquid. Once you connect a hose up to the can, it'll never sit straight up without some serious assistance, and will eventually flip over when you least want it to and spray liquid.

If you read through HM's article provided conveniently here by Dan, you have a couple of choices. It's cheaper than buying an aircompressor if you only paint a few times a year. Otherwise, it's cheaper in the long run to take a trip to your local hardware store or Sears and pick up a decent aircompressor for about $100.

A compressor is useful for a whole range of tasks other than airbrushing.I have never regretted getting mine.
