Hey, I just bought my Rebel about 2.5 months ago, and I just sent it in to the Tekin shop to get repaired cause it shorted, or something. The Setuyp light blimnks then I go throgh setup, and it doesn't work, so I do it again and again. PLEASE HELP! Please tell me Tekin an fix this. Also, would it be ok to hardwire it to my motor, if I get it back fixed? I spent $80 on it and I am only 14, I have no more money! HELP!!!!

If yuo have any suggestions, e-mail me at derekjlewis@hotmail.com THANKES!

Hey rustler boy, do you have a new number for tekin? Or address? I have a charger that needs repair, and I cant get a hold of anyone. I just posted a topic "Is tekin gone", and noone seems to know anything. Where did you send your speedo?

It may not be just your motor, check it with another ESC, it could just need to be cut/cleaned etc....

I have Tekin Rebels in both of my cars. Both are hard wired via solder and I haven't had any trouble.

I do fear that Tekin may be out of business. There is a separate forum discussion that suggests an alternative source for repair if you can't get the ESC working. Check "Is Tekin Gone?" in either the General or Electric sections (I don't recall).
