Ok, I've done a search and can't find what I want.

Best bet is Li-ion LI poly mini c type cells will also work.

This is a mini type pack.
9.6v or higher, 7 or 8 cel

LI-ion will be 3 cel due to 3.6v

High capacity would be nice over 1100mah. So where do you get the cells from & what do you use to assemble them (mini battery bars?)?

Well it's not really for a car, but another special app,with a 280 motor.
